25,704 nappies donated to the Pearly Kings and Queens Association to help fight nappy need with charity partners and baby banks across the UK.
Nappies represent a significant cost for families and millions of parents across the UK who cannot afford an adequate supply to maintain infant hygiene. UK charity Pearly Kings and Queens raise funds and goods for nominated charities (social welfare charities – poverty charities) that provide support to members of the community who need it the most. The charity was originally established in 1875 to help provide others with a better way of living. They help relieve poverty and distress amongst the residents of the UK, particularly in the London area. Through association, this charity will distribute the nappies provided to Orchard Baby Bank and Red bridge Children’s centers to help struggling families.
